Hi everybody. Not been on till late evening as was tied up with other things all day. Have not seen much action but I believe fish deliveries were early morning and mid-evening yesterday. Looking through the posts it looks like there were 5/6 fish delivered by both Odin and EJ. Arguments over who has what fish etc.
Can't believe another month is almost over , making it now even more closer to when the family will migrate to Africa. Let's savour all the precious moments we can of life on the nest etc.
I will not be about much today as I have final day of Kids Summer Club and concert in the evening which the kids put on - rather a full day with all the clearing up to do etc. Will look in at the end of the day.
Over to the night shift, good viewing, and thanks for all your posts that keep us over here going when we come on in the mornings.

Jillian : I still have Hamish the thunderdog and has been mentioned many times already on the weekly chat. He is well at the moment after also having a few problems this year. I think BigRab has had lots of family commiitments this year so just hasnt had the time. I hope that you have a great time in Scotland. I have been to Spey Bay and LG as recently as 2 years ago.
Only 1 GEM on the nest with a fish now.
Jillian enjoy Loch of the Lowes and hope you see our wonderful Lady. Forgot you were going to both in previous post.

Thanks Alan and margobird-don't get on here much as am still following about 25 sites round the world although LG and LOL and the Barn owl trust I spend most time on.
Have to clean the house now but will let you all know how my visits went. Just hope all the birds wait until we get there in our motorhome. Can't take cake as 13 hour journey but have some biscuits and sweets for them all which I am sure they will all enjoy.
Can't wait for the cooler weather, last time both ways the weather changed at Gretna and I changed clothes.
Wish everyone well and speak again soon.

A big thanks to all for all the pics and news from the nest. Lindybird loved being reminded of that picture of Odin watching his first chick being fed by EJ and thanks for another wonderful poem. . I have saved many of the pics and all the poems to browse through during the winter months. Time marching on now and 3 GEM's looking so well due to EJ and Odin's prowess at fishing. Fancy EJ delivering two fish within half ab hour. I witnessed the scrapping that went on earlier, that is the worst I have seen so far this year. can see half a GEM who is still eating and I think there is another one on the camera post.. Now to catch up with the weekly chat. Have a good day all.
A fish being chewed almost off camera.
EJ just arrived with a flapping fish and is feeding one fo the GEM's.
The other GEM still finishing off the fish from the last delivery. EJ feeding the GEM as fast as she can to shut it up.
Wrong blog but youngest chick at LOtL has a large fish all to itself.
