I'm not doing a post-mortem of the LG 2019 season.
Here's to a colourful, action-packed off-season - but the cam needs repositioning and cleaning. MIKE ??? !!! ;-D
03 September!
As KORKY may have retired in despair (I nearly did myself!), here is An Animal's Guide to Britain.

The rope "walkway" snapped at about 14.15. It looked like a squirrel on the further away tree may have been nibbling at it. Ian
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
Thursday 05 December
Squirrel, Coal Tit, Crested Tit pre-daycam.
After a slowish start, probably due to squirrels hogging, it was a very busy day but I didn't find anyone unusual.
I thought I had a coup but the yellow bird on the perch is a yellow-jacketed chap in the woods:
Sod's Law, the cam had started breaking up by the time of the dastardly deed :o
Not many witnesses!
Shortly thereafter the stream went down, then back up for 5 minutes and down again, then normal service resumed - with no need for a new link :)
Last in was the Crestie in a rosy glow, it got 7 minutes to itself after the Coal Tit left:
Friday 06 December
After 3 minutes of squirrel a Crestie arrived. We need to speak to LG about quality control, as the poor birdie had to reject several peanuts - they're going to have to be individually graded!
Then Coal Tit, then daycam.

What with that, the broken rope, the cam 'about to go down' (I wish we knew when, makes me nervous...), the place is going to pot!
A squirrel was pestering the rope again :o
Later a GSW drove off a fellow woodie would-be competitor?
A Crestie took advantage of a lull in the hordes of Coalies:
A Coal Tit outlasted a Crestie at closing time.
