I'm not doing a post-mortem of the LG 2019 season.
Here's to a colourful, action-packed off-season - but the cam needs repositioning and cleaning. MIKE ??? !!! ;-D
03 September!
As KORKY may have retired in despair (I nearly did myself!), here is An Animal's Guide to Britain.

IMAGICAT
Last in last night - and I was hoping to see if we could differentiate these 3 birds but they wouldn't pose identically and the light changed :(
First in this morning, yet again:

I thought "about time I did a Woodie" but then popped in here and saw you'd already done a snap... so I did a little vid of a changeover instead, and there's a fleeting "hide 'n seek" at the end:
Then I came across 2 in quick succession, the second proving that one didn't have to look bedraggled ;)
The squirrels were most frustrating - not keeping still, staying behind the feeder, or not facing our way:
Lovely videos scylla. Especially of the legume-lout.
Five Blue Tits - that includes the blur in the top left corner:
Last night, as usual these two tits were the latest, but the (or a) Crestie did claim the final spot:
(That's the pre-prepared IrfanView Red Gradient frame, CIRRUS, I didn't both to alter the shades and plonked it on twice.)
It rained all night but eased off in the morning, this was the order of the day - squirrel twice cos it crossed night to day - it looked surprisingly dry:
.
Ta-dahhh !!! !!! !!!
#1* of the season, during the middle of the day:
*First one seen by me!
Kind regards, Ann
Unknown said: I haven't yet seen any down here on the Surrey-Hampshire border.
I hope they're wending their way down to you, GARDENBIRDER :)
The Siskin returned later in the afternoon but wasn't seen during the last couple of daylight hours:
Crestie was there very late but vied with 2 Coal Tits for last place and they won:
The first two this morning, Crestie nowhere to be seen:
In order to continue with the morning I had to stop a download and it didn't get 'finalised' so this is what I got :(
But in between the chaoticies there were some clear patches:
Nice tail:
Nice tufts growing :)))
