RSPB Loch Garten Abernethy Facebook page have posted about a visiting male osprey. Sorry I can’t do a link until I’m back home.

This from LG FB page 6 hrs ago ... **We have just had an male osprey that has been checking out the nest quite a bit recently who appears to sporting a European style leg ring. This metal clip-ring is trés chic and is not used in the UK!**

The new 'gizzmo' has been fitted to the satellite dish. This now needs to be realigned to its optimum position and a satellite engineer is due there on Monday to do just that.

I think I read somewhere that Peter suggested it would be done overnight. It's not on-line at the moment.
