The season continues almost as it started - devoid of ospreys, but now we are even devoid of an empty nest. Should we feel sorry for ourselves we should think of the VC staff and volunteers, whose cam connection was taken down by lightning.
Here's hoping there will be good news today.

The wind has come up and it's started tipping down, as far as I can tell. Rannoch soldiers on courageously ;-D
EDIT - Sorry! I won't delete this, out of respect for the following query ;)

I hope I'm granted them, ADDERS ;)
They were back again @ around 18:00:
Thank you everyone - that's another UK bird ticked off - only another several hundred to go ;)
NIGHTCAM 20:30
I've seen 2 deer, one day, one night, both unsnappable recognisably.
Oh dear, senility has well and truly set in here - I forgot to set the cam on record in time for daylight this morning. So this is from the download and I've calculated the time by subtracting the number of minutes before the end of the recording... oh well, you know.
DAYCAM 05:57
Longterm buffering, then this when I manually refresh, therefore I reckon this is the end :'(
(The cam actually went offline @ 11:32.)
