I loved it! I spotted a female bullfinch, dunnock/hedge sparrows and linnet, as well as a grey squirrel.

And I got Stonestart, or perhaps it was Redchat. A bit difficult to tell as it was only a fleeting glimpse.

Some people think Ospreys are a matter of life and death. I don't like that attitude. I can assure them it is much more serious than that.

  • Sadly, still no cam.

And even more sadly, no update from anyone.

    Regards,

    Ian.

  • Hi Kate. "The Gods" certainly seem to be against Peter and his team. So frustrating for all concerned, just one issue after another.
  • Hello guys,

Just a quick update. There has not been much action surrounding the nest in recent days. We have been getting some fly pasts and some interest being shown, but no ospreys being able to be identified. Most ospreys will be heading south on their journeys now that the season is coming to an end. Our internet appears to have crashed and the thinking is that the wires for the satellite have been chewed by some cheeky mice. Will let you know if anything else happens on the nest!

  • Today's the day that an engineer is due to re-focus the satellite dish (or something like that). Whether he'll be able to fix chewed cables is another matter :-/

  • Just seen this. I wonder if they are juveniles, exploring m
