Hi all, Fairly quiet day. Morning activity then youngsters were on and off the nest at times during the afternoon and evening. Until EJ landed with a whopper of a fish in the late evening. Two juves were on the nest and what a tussle took place. Gary has a video link for it and I placed a series of pics on yesterdays update along with others who also posted the Battle of the Titans tussle.
Now we have an abandoned part eaten "whale" on the nest and nobody around to eat it.The wind still sounds fierce. Over to the night shift, happy viewing. See you all in the morning. No, I won't be able to catch up till a lot later in the day.

Please can you tell me what Normal O, False, False, false means. Have been wondering for ages.
A GEM landed on the nest calling ... don't know why! ... and is gone again.

Well thank you Gary and Allen.Really enjoyed fabulous pics of Ospreys yesterday, again many thanks Gary and to all who are clever enough to show us pics etc,
Thank you DjoanS for explanation.
Oh, sorry MLake - this happens when (and only when) I compose my post in Word and than copy and paste it in the reply to post page. It never happens when I just click on ''reply'' and type my post. I have no explanation as to why it happens. sorry.
heard Osprey ''voices'' and leaped upstairs (where my computer is ) to find EN (oh well) and MLakes post.
But. DJoan bagged a pic :) great
I keep hearong Osprey chirps and noised but the nest remains empty.

Plenty of chirping and calling from our family in the background ... but an empty nest.

We've been housebound by many works over the last year, but "kitchen works" makes you MORE housebound! And helpless each night. We had ours done during February 2009 - cooking wherever the stove happened to have been left; washing up in the sink and bath upstairs; larder in the front room - can't remember too much about about where we actually ate - must have to still be here!
