Hi all, Fairly quiet day. Morning activity then youngsters were on and off the nest at times during the afternoon and evening. Until EJ landed with a whopper of a fish in the late evening. Two juves were on the nest and what a tussle took place. Gary has a video link for it and I placed a series of pics on yesterdays update along with others who also posted the Battle of the Titans tussle.
Now we have an abandoned part eaten "whale" on the nest and nobody around to eat it.The wind still sounds fierce. Over to the night shift, happy viewing. See you all in the morning.No, I won't be able to catch up till a lot later in the day.

Had good laugh at this caption from, oh dear, somebody.... have lost the plot again. Sigh. "Just like human teenagers . Spend hours cooking an elaborate dinner and then find out that no one is hungry. They ate at a friends house before they came home :( "
Can't believe the size of that fish EJ brought back last night. I don't think I've seen one that big, though some of the "senior" bloggers may have.
Emma: As you are restricting your Weekly Chat activities, I'm only watching the nest for a couple of hours each evening after reading the daily update posts. My schedule's completely off what with OH in the UK and family and friends visiting...
Hmmm. Just tried to connect to the LG cam and just a green screen!! Anyone else having this problem?
The whale is gone from the nest .I just logged in and I didn't see who took it.

One Juve just came to the nest and found a sizable scrap from last night's whale and it eating it. If it had taken advantage of the feast that EJ provided last night it would not be scrounging for scraps this morning .

I just tried LOTL and had no problem there either. There is one bird one the nest, but I can't see the head to tell if it is one of the juves , the Lady or the Laird
EJ just delivered a fish and Middle tried to take it . She will have none of that and has every intension of serving it herself . It looks like Middle is being fed and here comes the Eldest . He is in guard mode watching the sky and area . Now he got in the food line and relinquished his pride to let Mum feed him :) EJ is not giving up the fish even if the Eldest wants to feed himself.
Good grief now Odin delivered what looks like the remains of last night's whale. So he was the culprit who took the whale from the nest LOL . That was a big fish for him to haul away

The juves tried to grab it from Odin but EJ grabbed that one too and is serving it
All three juves on the nest making a deafening racket.
Odin is doing some nest work. Now Odin left . He left his ear plugs at his roosting tree and had to get out of there before they damaged his hearing LOL .
What is going on here? Now one of the juves has a whole fish and EJ is still serving from the other fishes.
I didn't see how that fish got to the nest. Is Odin dropping them on the nest while he is in flight ?
Hi Barbara jean: Just restarted the computer and got the cam back - don't know what was going on there (computer or osprey-wise) Three chicks on nest with EJ still feeding. That chick on the left has its own fish. EJ has stopped feeding now, seems to be poking about and picking up bits and pieces. Now one of the other chicks is grabbing the other fish. Oh hmm. Just stopped to cram some ice cream in my mouth and missed who got what. Now one of the chicks has gone. Is that Titch at the rear of the nest or #2? I think a third chick is off-camera at the left with that fish
