How lovely that you were able to again trawl and bring us some wonderful footage 'of not one...not two ,BUT, Three Ospreys.'Thank you so much, and again thanks to Peter and let us hope all his efforts have paid off, and we now have a stable feed.

I cannot get over how opportune the recovery of the cam was - here are some snaps of what it had been doing until 19:00 (I could have added more Carnyx screens, plus I may not have got them in the right order):

MC. I have emailed Peter to enable him to check if it is fluke or whether that tardy lot of providers have got their act together!

A scenario has been on my mind, MIKE - which you can easily guess.

Stonechat/s and was that a female Redstart on the nest?  This has been cut mercilessly and I haven't left enough of the "Redstart" on the campost for you to notice, but it was there first before popping down onto the nest, and eventually camperson noticed and zoomed in to a very grainy view.

Oh dang, the cam just went down! Dang!

EDIT - back up after a few minutes.

Never realised that the branches just appearing into the left of frame were so popular with small birds! There was a Coal Tit as well visiting.

Definitely saw the red in the tail so female Redstart seems good. Looked up meaning of 'start' as in Redstart and found ""start" comes from Middle English stert (Old English steort), for the tail of an animal."

So glad to see some activity on this nest - Ospreys as well as the small visitors!
