The season so far: LM12 (Laddie) arrived back 15 March and LF15 (Lassie) on 23 March. Lassie laid 3 eggs on 4, 7 and 10 April hatching 11, 12 and 16 May. Sadly on 26 May tragedy struck and the third chick died. The remaining two chicks were ringed on 26 June as follows: #1 Blue PT4 (M) and #2 Blue PT5 (M).

9:40 Laddie with a fish on an empty nest, PT4 flew in to claim his 3rd fish of the day
10:03 PT5 flew in and immediately easily stole the fish from PT4
Sandra P said:Sorry Starling.
No need to be sorry Sandra, Lol, saved me doing it!
Sandra P said:Yes, I've added the pics to my post above. I wonder what type of fish it was?
Oh I see what you mean about the fish, I never really looked at it. I have no idea I'm not up on fish species, looks a bit like those garfish, but it seems too small for that.
Both PT's on the nest waiting for a passing fish.
PT5 I think it is has just flown.
I've been scrutinising scroll back on 0.25 speed from just before 14:00 - intruder over the nest.
13:52 PT5 flew in protesting, a bird flew overhead and away over the Loch
Intruder far left
14:57 PT4 (left) came to the nest to assist
14:00(ish) An intrusion right over the nest! Incoming on the left
Top, centre
Off to the top right of centre
The noise from both boys was incredible!
Apologies for the blurred snaps, it all happened so fast even on the slowest YT setting
