The season so far: LM12 (Laddie) arrived back 15 March and LF15 (Lassie) on 23 March. Lassie laid 3 eggs on 4, 7 and 10 April hatching 11, 12 and 16 May. Sadly on 26 May tragedy struck and the third chick died. The remaining two chicks were ringed on 26 June as follows: #1 Blue PT4 (M) and #2 Blue PT5 (M).

11.21, I have been popping in and out, but I have not seen any sign of Lassie or Laddie? Both juvies have been off and on the nest all morning.
Hope a fish gets delivered soon, this pair must be getting pretty hungry!

I hadn't seen Laddie or Lassie up until that point either Starling
From scroll back, at 11:50(ish) Laddie delivered a fish to the nest, goodness what a melee that was! Both PT4 and PT5 were on the nest, Laddie landed and it was a free-for-all. To try to collect the fish, PT4 went for his foot, then swiped at his face with his beak making Laddie fly away. In the meantime, PT5 had claimed the fish! Worth watching
PT4 front
There appeared to have been overhead intrusions close to the nest when forwarding through
Approximately 14:10 the cam panned in to show PT4, still waiting for a fish
16:06 A fish at last for PT4. Another melee to grab it, even PT5 made a near-miss swipe at Laddie's face before his dad flew off!
PT4 right
16:28 PT5 looking to see what's on offer
16:46 PT4 still tucking in
16:52
17:05 Not much fish left now
17:15 PT4 flew off after finishing the fish; PT5 finds small morsels between the sticks
17:21 PT5 left the nest
17:28 PT5 made a brief appearance
Just for the record, I've not seen Lassie so far today
17:37 Lol, guess who's just arrived - with a fish!
PT5 made a bit of a rushed landing and tried to take her part fish, he only managed to get a biteful and Lassie then flew off - fish in talons
PT5 stayed on the nest for a short while before leaving. Then at 17:48 this cheeky chap found a small piece of fish and took it away
17:50 It came back, flew when PT5 came to the nest
17:52 PT5 telling the visitor to go away! It's answering back
18:10 PT5 still 'guarding' the nest
18:43 Fish from Laddie, PT5 flew in to claim it (the crows are still nearby)
PT5 stood there more concerned about the nearby crows before picking up the fish
18:51 Eating now though at least one corvid is near
Thank you for the reports & captures Sandra. I had to go out and it's been awful not knowing if Laddie or Lassie had turned up, so I'm relieved to see that both have.
Both boys have been on the nest (calling) but it's been ENS since 20:40
PT4, who'd been calling most, on the right
