The season so far: Telyn (Blue 3J) arrived back 30 March and Monty on 1 April. Telyn laid 3 eggs 17, 20 and 23 April hatching 26, 27 and 29 May. The three chicks were ringed and named on 28 June as follows: #1 Blue KA1 (F) “Berthyn”, #2 Blue KA2 (M) “Peris” and #3 Blue KA3 (M) “Hesgyn”.

Peris & Berthyn perching on nest branch - Hesgyn with good helicoptering...
Great snaps, OLAF! Well done, Hesgyn :)
My 6-hour download of yesterday is corrupted, I can't "play" it even, let alone scroll thru :'(
IMAGICAT
It was approx 14:00 to 02:00 that was corrupted :( Ever since that it's been fine.
This early morning...
All 3 juvies slept on the nest:
Telyn to pointy perch, Monty on his perch:
Getting ready (highly brightened):
Off goes Peris, who wasn't the one who'd been doing the most wingercising:
Berthyn? disturbing Hesgyn's peace:
Mandatory Telyn shot:
Hesgyn got going:
He meant business !!!
Dropped stick, it got too heavy ;)
Telyn had fed from a nestover, Monty had brought in a big soft bale of hay.
Telyn is not looking exactly plump, either (me having remarked on Monty's scrawniness yesterday):
Monty brought a strange stick:
And some more hay (wingercising juvie spoilt any closer view):
Hesgyn's up again:
And down with an oops!
Had a little rest:
And while the cam was zoomed on the nest...
Hesgyn kinda fledged ??? !!!
I think you can see the ring number.
Peris HESGYN (brain-flip, it was Hesgyn I reported as fledging) has been exploring the "beam" and had a little leap:
Yup, Hesgyn has fledged, and flew around then landed next to Berthyn.

All three fledglings together
Peris HESGYN took off, not in the best direction for us:
After a good flyaround he joined Big Sis, as reported by ALISON:
Big Sis didn't like sharing so she flew:
Peris HESGYN preened among the gnatty flyers (well, here's one anyway):
And surveyed the new view:
