The season so far: Telyn (Blue 3J) arrived back 30 March and Monty on 1 April. Telyn laid 3 eggs 17, 20 and 23 April hatching 26, 27 and 29 May. The three chicks were ringed and named on 28 June as follows: #1 Blue KA1 (F) “Berthyn”, #2 Blue KA2 (M) “Peris” and #3 Blue KA3 (M) “Hesgyn”.

A few moments ago a live fish was delivered.
Berthyn had it and was being harassed by Hesgyn.
Result was Berthyn dropped it over the side!
The look on their faces says it all...."what the hell....???"

Birdies LG DU update.
Priceless image MIKE
Peris resolutely tucking in to a flounder watched by his siblings I was going to say patiently but not so sure now I think Berthyn was contemplately a take over bid but Peris turned his back on her Then Hesgyn wondered whether he had a chance but Peris very much in control

Some bits from today.
Monty with a stick:
The first zooms of the day:
Substantiating MIKE's claim of "fish over the side" ;)
Other interesting visitors:
Another "What did she (KA1) say?":
Three gorgeous juvies relaxing on the nest:
Alerted, they rose (almost) as one !!!
And scarpered:
The cam was unable to find a cause but I think I found it later.
Monty was finishing his fish:
Suddenly he picked up the fishtail and flew, alarm calling:
He returned and after a brief stay on the perch flew again, with even an alarm scream!
And the intruders trudged into view:
Later the juvies gathered again, not the same mood tho - expecting a fish?
Telyn had one:
There's so much steam here you'd think I couldn't run out of it, but I have!
IMAGICAT
When looked in 4-5 mins ago 2 were sitting on top of some kind of pole with the third flying overhead Within seconds the 2 on the pole flew and cam person did a brilliant job of following 2 and then one as they flew beautifully and effortlessly around
According to somebody from Dyfi on chat the pole is the signally mastfor the station and is supposed to have anti-perching devices!
This is the scene now

A full house, including a train!

Peris tried to pinch a fish from Hesgyn, but no dice!
