Link to June 2019 thread (Following Karen's excellent example of providing useful links....)
On 1 July, chick 1 is 30 days old. Chick 2, from egg 3, is 27 days old.
Apart from the sad failure-to-hatch of egg 2 , everything has been reasonably settled on the nest, and Louis is in the running for Mary's 'Fisherman of the Year Award'.

You're fine, KORKY, Louis didn't bring another fish ;) Thank you for an excellent starting post!
The (wet) scene at midnight:
It's still raining now but there have been no disturbances, apart from the chicks dislodging Aila every now 'n then.
IMAGICAT
Sadly the scene has not improved any. Aila is "coorying doon" as we would say.
I doubt if Louis will find fishing this morning very easy.
Thanks for starting the new thread Korky

About 10-15 mins ago Aila took a fly around. Came back to the nest and picked up a fish tail that was lying there.
The Bobs weren't interested at first so she ate quite a few pieces herself.
Then they decided they wanted some, oh how she made that ole fish tail last :-)
All Gone and she tries to cover them up again
'Twas indeed a biggie Ian
