Lovely snaps, as usual, KORKY :)
Special thanks to SHEILA for transferring over all that varied info!
I took the opportunity to snaffle the shot of dearest Lachlan biting his ringer ;)
Having watched only a few snatches today, I caught it at the wrong time and thought that #2 wasn't getting its share... then I was reassured:

Another snippet from George Anderson recently
5:46 PM George Anderson In a few weeks' time the chicks will be ringed and various measurements taken. These will tell us the likely gender of the chicks. At that point we will open a discussion on names......likely ending with a vote.

Louis landed with another fish!! Aila takes it from him and feeds herself again, and the osplets (I think!).
Louis fecks and lingers, with one eye on the fish!!
An opportunity, and he takes the fish
He eats it on the nest, while Aila broods again
Louis has finished the fish, so none left over for later. Still windy, with the occasional sound of rain.
Louis lingered before flying off at 18.08
Sheila, Aila was feeding the chicks when Louis brought the last fish in. I assumed he was finishing the older fish after Aila took the new one from him, suggesting there might be one on the nest (the unfinished new one). Having said that, Aila recently had a flyabout & I couldn't see a fish, although after a while telling them apart from the bark on the nest can be a problem (for me anyway). Ian
20.16, nice looking whole (I think) fish delivered. Ian
