The season so far: Mrs G arrived back 25 March and Aran on 1 April. Mrs G laid 3 eggs 13, 16 and 19 April hatching 19, 21 and 24 May. Mrs G and Aran continue to work hard to raise their young and Aran is once more proving to be an excellent provider bringing in plenty of fish to feed his family.

Family time on the nest
Mrs G has a stretch
Hard to get a shot of the chicks as they don't stop preening for a split second to get a snap

MrsG spent most of the night on the fence, till she had a stretch and flew off:
She returned to shelter them but I couldn't see rain, nor when daycam came on shortly after:
A few minutes after the camperson came on duty, Aran arrived with a flounder, which wasn't cam-friendly:
Big difference in the sizes of the bobs:
#1 slapped Mama, showing off wing :o I could show MrsG wincing, but then the wing is blurred.

Birdies LG DU update.
Great! Many thanks Birdie. I've looked back on the vid, and it may have happened just after 15.00. There was a switch in view, and two chicks pancaked (to use the technical phrase!). Mrs G arrived and after a pause fed them both from a fish already on the nest. Before 16.00 there appeared to be something off the nest that Mrs G wasn't happy about, feeding stopped, chicks flattened, Mrs G was looking in her fierce way all around. A minute or so ago with the chicks relaxed, but Mrs G not, she flew to the perch with her tail just visible.
So we now have KA4 and KA0 (not 5) at Glaslyn, and later this week we will have KA1, KA2 and KA3 at Dyfi on Friday.
One thought - are these two officially still chicks 1 and 3 when only two survived? In my mind they will, but perhaps it is not right when there are only two of them.
