What a shame. Fingers crossed for the other two to thrive.

MIKE was good enough to warn me of this and I wasn;t going to come on here here today but then I wanted to pay my respects to all at BGGW and this poor little thing. It seems so unfair wee one after you seemed so well yesterday You are at peace now Goodbye .

11:49 Aran was on the right side of the nest with a fish, #3 slipped onto its back (after Aran fed it a few bites) from the cot rails, still trying to right itself as I type. There was what looked to be an intrusion close to the nest as well, both Aran and Mrs G mantled

Still stuck. The body of the dead chick is preventing it from turning easily.

Oh deary me. What a sad day for Glaslyn, when #2 seemed to be doing so well, and now 3# seems to be stuck under #1.
Mrs G is trying to feed #3 despite it lying on its back. Surely it will choke?
This must happen on other nests, and pass unseen.

Mrs G has flown, and returns with a clump of... and moves a stick which disturbs #1.  #3 struggles to get up

I don't think #1 is the problem Sheila as it has moved previously. #3 seems to be unable to slip further down the cup because of the body and can't get enough turn to roll to the right.

11.34 Mrs G has flown again, leaving the two osplets on on the nest. #1 is interested in what is around, #3 struggles. Come on wee one, you can make it.
