The season so far: Mrs G arrived back 25 March and Aran on 1 April. Mrs G laid 3 eggs 13, 16 and 19 April hatching 19, 21 and 24 May. Mrs G and Aran continue to work hard to raise their young and Aran is once more proving to be an excellent provider bringing in plenty of fish to feed his family.

That is a great video of Aran.
I always think he looks a lot like the wonderful 11(98) - MRS G has been lucky, two handsome males for her!

Yes Mike the Cam Ops at Glaslyn do give the Cam Watchers wonderful close up's on a daily basis too. Well Done to them.
Mrs G - "Right girls, I heard a rumour that Gardenbirder is visiting today,"
"Ok mum, you keep an eye out for her your side and we'll cover the rest...!"
Aran - "I'll take over the watch, you relax. She won't be having any of our fish, she'll have to catch her own!" ;D
Enjoy your visit GB!

MrsG and Aran were very watchful for some time:
Eventually Aran gave chase, the cam found someone in the sky but who knows who it was?

I do!!! Edit: actually I don't! I see the time of Scylla's post is bright and early in the morning, and the post refers to the afternoon But I suspect it was still 5F,
From Glaslyn FB yesterday
Glaslyn Update for Friday.Aran spent much of the morning sitting in a tree by the river at Pont Croesor.
An intruding osprey was spotted over the Glaslyn nest several times during the day. During one afternoon intrusion, Mrs G took chase and she was away from the nest for several minutes. We believe the osprey was 5F, who we had seen at Pont Croesor early afternoon in the same group of trees Aran had been sitting in during the morning.
The two chicks spent much of the day trying to shelter from the heat of the sun behind a parent. Youngest chick KA0, who is now starting to catch up with eldest chick KA4 as regards feather development, was clearly having a bad hair day when we took this screen grab!
