The season so far: LM12 (Laddie) arrived back 15 March and LF15 (Lassie) on 23 March. Lassie laid 3 eggs on 4, 7 and 10 April hatching 11, 12 and 16 May. Sadly on 26 May tragedy struck and the third chick died. Laddie and Lassie continue to work hard to raise their young and Laddie is once more proving to be an excellent provider bringing in plenty of fish to feed his family.

16:10 Lassie and the chicks had to really hunker down after the feed due to extreme blustery conditions. #1 (left) ended up under Lassie's right wing for safety

17:25 It's still very windy
17:31 Wing stretch from #2
17:35 A little bit calmer now
Just before 21:00, Laddie delivered a fish. It was left on the nest and untouched by Lassie until she started a feed at around 21:25
21:38 Lassie moved the 'log' to a better position
Just after 7:30, Laddie delivered a large fish
Lassie had already fed from an overnight leftover fish piece around 4am

From scroll back, and continuing from my last post, Laddie came to the nest while Lassie was still away and he flew off with the fish. I can't see that he returned to the nest with any portion of it afterwards

11:00 Laddie was on the nest and both he and Lassie were chipping briefly. Lassie was calm after he flew off
