The season so far: LM12 (Laddie) arrived back 15 March and LF15 (Lassie) on 23 March. Lassie laid 3 eggs on 4, 7 and 10 April hatching 11, 12 and 16 May. Sadly on 26 May tragedy struck and the third chick died. Laddie and Lassie continue to work hard to raise their young and Laddie is once more proving to be an excellent provider bringing in plenty of fish to feed his family.

22:04 Lassie waiting her turn
22:14 Lassie will have to wait a bit longer as PT4 left the fish and PT5 stepped in again
22:26 Lassie has now taken charge
Looks like PT5 is feeding itself.

Is this the first chick we have seen eating by itself??? Karen has any of the Manton Bay chicks been feeding themselves?
For those who check in later and may have missed it :-)
