The season so far: LM12 (Laddie) arrived back 15 March and LF15 (Lassie) on 23 March. Lassie laid 3 eggs on 4, 7 and 10 April hatching 11, 12 and 16 May. Sadly on 26 May tragedy struck and the third chick died. Laddie and Lassie continue to work hard to raise their young and Laddie is once more proving to be an excellent provider bringing in plenty of fish to feed his family.

Laddie brings in another fish approx 09.28.
Laddie in with another fish @ 11.18.
Chicks so far not moved so can't be hungry.
Spoke too soon, chicks have made a half-hearted attempt to get up, but they really don't look bothered.
Looked in just now and Laddie on the nest with his family. He didn't bring a fish though and Lassie not happy.
He has now flown off probably after being told in no uncertain terms to bring a fish!
Well he listened to her, Starling! lol Delivery at 17:22

Laddie delivers another fish, decent size, @ 19.11.
2 well fed chicks.
I'm going to take a break now, I've got square eyes
From scroll back and continuing from Starling's post
Around 19:20, Lassie was feeding the chicks from the previous delivery. Laddie made an appearance after Lassie had moved the fish she was feeding from to the left side of the nest. He left while she was still trying to ply one chick with more
He had something in his talons but was only a small scrap of something
The light 'part' under his left talon was already on the nest
20:21 Laddie came to the nest and had a couple of bites of the remainder of the fish. He then flew off with it, Lassie didn't protest
Scene at 20:27
Fish delivery @ 0516.
Well apart from a few bites there isn't much interest in the fish, so Lassie decides a bit of a nestwork is in order.
