The season so far: Maya arrived back 14 March and Blue 33(11) on 23 March. Maya laid 4 eggs 2, 5, 8 and 11 April hatching 11, 11, 13 and 17 May. Maya and 33 continue to work hard to raise their young and 33 is once more proving to be an excellent provider bringing in plenty of fish to feed his family.

WOW - amazing helicoptering from 055
up
way up, out of sight - pity we can't see more!
hovers for a good bit
and down!
Incredible captures KAREN and incredible helicoptering Can't believe one of them is at that stage already
When I saw them on the nest about 5 minutes I was thinking to myself how amazed I am that the chicks have grown tiny wee bobbles to these magnificent individuals
A minute later......all pancaked down What was the danger? Another osprey?

I think Rutland are trying to make some adjustments to the cams. It would be wonderful if we could see more sky for those chicks are getting up to some height now!
I expect it will take some fiddling about adjusting the two cams so we'll just have to be patient while they work on them.
WOW,
and next time, even higher going out of sight !!
must of stopped flapping tho, for it came down rather quickly :-D
Fantastic captures, KAREN :o I cannot believe that it wasn't frozen here :))) Just 40 seconds, please wait to see the inspired sibling at the end ;)
(Not sure what this will turn out like, as I re-recorded the top cam from the original recording, to save cropping it, hoping it will be better quality but it's an experiment.)
IMAGICAT
Intruder - 33 has landed and screeching and mantling
Threat passes quickly and 33 has calmed down
