The season so far: Maya arrived back 14 March and Blue 33(11) on 23 March. Maya laid 4 eggs 2, 5, 8 and 11 April hatching 11, 11, 13 and 17 May. Maya and 33 continue to work hard to raise their young and 33 is once more proving to be an excellent provider bringing in plenty of fish to feed his family.

Katy advises in the update that the intruder this morning was one of the unpaired males in the area. I wonder if it was the same one that intruded yesterday and again just now?
Just thought some of you may be interested seeing the nest from another angle.
My brother took this photo of the nest from a boat when he was fishing at Rutland Water. He was anchored at the top of the bay looking down towards the nest ie the reverse of our cam view.
FISH @19:11
A massive fish! I am amazed how 33 manages to catch these and then carry them back to the nest!
Maya grabs hold of it and the chicks are all around
LOL 057 is grabbing the fish tail as Maya starts feeding the others
Plenty fish there for everyone tonight :-)

Lovely big fish which Maya quickly takes
Maya starts feeding - 054 up first
07:27 055 is up next
Maya starts to clean up around her taking a break from feeding.
She then flies off leaving the fish and chicks who snuggle up
Going back to wakeup time.
No green this morning :(
A parent attracted the chicks' attention :)
EDIT - name changed after SANDRA pointed out the error! :)
Aila Maya arrived:
Small fish:
Aila Maya was very watchful for quite a while:
Sure enough, she had to chase off an intruder, whom I couldn't see on either cam:
More height! :)
