The season so far: Maya arrived back 14 March and Blue 33(11) on 23 March. Maya laid 4 eggs 2, 5, 8 and 11 April hatching 11, 11, 13 and 17 May. Maya and 33 continue to work hard to raise their young and 33 is once more proving to be an excellent provider bringing in plenty of fish to feed his family.

Brief visit from 33
Thanks Jane.
10:33 Chicks appear to have all been fed and Maya enjoying some herself now.
After feeding, Maya flies off but she wont be far.
#2 having a peck at the left over fish
Edit: I was compiling these captures, and meanwhile you have posted more wonderful ones, Karen. But having done it I will posts them any way!
What super captures, Karen, with colour! Mine look rather grey now. The wind is getting up, blowing what I assume is cobwebs up from the bottom on the lens.
Maya has just downed a tail end of fish, as the four chicks relax!
Downed, but it doesn't show very well

Beautiful Maya
what happened there? She didn't leave!
She did then fly , possibly to the perch near the nest, but not camperch
And a chick discovered a piece of fish, and tried to feed itself. #4?
Did Maya fly over?
She returned with a stick. Did she have a bathe too?
She left again, and there was a spot of 'wingercising'

How interesting to read that Maya went fishing this morning!! bringing in a Roach for breakfast around 4.30am.
I wondered if Maya would start fishing a bit earlier than usual to help out. What a team they are :-)
