The season so far: Maya arrived back 14 March and Blue 33(11) on 23 March. Maya laid 4 eggs 2, 5, 8 and 11 April hatching 11, 11, 13 and 17 May. Maya and 33 continue to work hard to raise their young and 33 is once more proving to be an excellent provider bringing in plenty of fish to feed his family.

Looks nice and dry this morning.

No adult in view, chicks all huddled, and a large wing spread out.
Seems to be getting a bit dark.
Morning All - thanks for the earlier updates. Maya screeching and mantling on the nest just now
Maya has now flown but I wouldn't expect she has gone far as 33 must be off fishing or chasing an intruder for if he was near, he would have landed following Maya's alarm calls.
Chicks snoozing enjoying the fine, dry weather.
Today the older chicks will be 5 weeks old! (#3 is 33 days and #4 29 days) I think they get ringed about 6 weeks so not long until they're fitted with their darvics \ IDs and hopefully we'll find out their sexes.
FISH @ 08:35
Maya grabbed the fish and started feeding. 33 hung around blocking our view and then flew off.
It is a big fish and plenty for all so while waiting their turn, the others do some wing exercises
08:56 #1 and #4 are now full and turn away settling at the front of the nest leaving #2 and #3 to get fed now
