The season so far: Maya arrived back 14 March and Blue 33(11) on 23 March. Maya laid 4 eggs 2, 5, 8 and 11 April hatching 11, 11, 13 and 17 May. Maya and 33 continue to work hard to raise their young and 33 is once more proving to be an excellent provider bringing in plenty of fish to feed his family.

Well looked in again just now and 33 was on the nest. Maya is feeding the chicks, not sure if 33 brought this fish in or if it was already there. They all look wet.

How awful to look in and see Maya once more shielding the chicks but at least there's light at the end of the tunnel for showers forecast until 10am and then that's it - dry weather with temperatures rising ahead
Maya has been off and returned with a stick. She is now up and feeding the chicks from the fish piece lying on the nest
