The season so far: Maya arrived back 14 March and Blue 33(11) on 23 March. Maya laid 4 eggs 2, 5, 8 and 11 April hatching 11, 11, 13 and 17 May. Maya and 33 continue to work hard to raise their young and 33 is once more proving to be an excellent provider bringing in plenty of fish to feed his family.

There is a feed going on just now. Obviously I'm not any good at ID of the chicks, so I won't even try :)

Thanks Starling.
Feed over. Maya has been off on a quick comfort break leaving the chicks resting after their fish.
nd off she goes again. Have just watched her skimming her feet in the water. No more fishy talons for the chicks :-D
33 flew in, grabbed the fish and flew off
Nice to see it dry for a bit and the chicks getting their heads up.
33 returns with the fish. My, those chicks are getting big!
33 flies off and Maya then takes the fish and #4 gets itself up for some fish
Once more Maya shielding the chicks but at least they have had some nosh and a little break from the rain.
In between showers, Maya flies off, returning with sticks and continues to build up the sides.
