The season so far: Maya arrived back 14 March and Blue 33(11) on 23 March. Maya laid 4 eggs 2, 5, 8 and 11 April hatching 11, 11, 13 and 17 May. Maya and 33 continue to work hard to raise their young and 33 is once more proving to be an excellent provider bringing in plenty of fish to feed his family.

Intruder around. Maya mantling and wing flapping.
someone flying in the background!
Maya has now flown
Soon both return to the nest. 33 mantling but threat passes quickly and Maya starts some nest keeping and 33 flies off.
They are growing up so fast. Can hardly believe almost a month has passed since the first hatch. A note of their ages now - Chicks #1 & #2 are now 29 days old Chick #3 is 27 days old Chick #4 is 23 days old
All four looking good in the sunshine.

Birdies LG DU update.
FISH @ 11:38
Maya starts feeding - #4 up first :-D
11:58 #4 now turns away full, collapses and goes to sleep leaving #3 and #2 getting fed and #1 back for some seconds.
12:11 feed over. All chicks have been well fed, each taking their turn and without any aggression.
Maya is feeding again. Missed delivery or it may be a left over piece?
12:49 No interest from any of the other chicks just now and it would appear that a fresh fish has been delivered.
#1 has now gone up to Maya for more and I expect the others will in turn too for there is plenty fish for them.
14:35 33 arrives with a fish or maybe left over fish piece from his last delivery?
#4 and #3 up first for fish
14:47 #4 and #3 turn away and #2 is now being fed. #1 not interested and still resting at side of nest
14:49 Feed over for there was just a little left for #2 with #3 and #4 having almost all of it. #1 will no doubt get something next feed.
Standing up a little more now and beginning to look like proper little ospreys
FISH @ 16:20
#4 gets itself up first for some fish :-D
33 lands and mantling crazy. Maya stops feeding. Cannot not see anything on the WA
16:30 Maya starts feeding again much to #4's delight and once more it is getting tucked in.
16:35 One of the older chicks joins #4 and now #4 has turned away. The others will then take their turn as once more a big fish from 33 so plenty to go round.
