The season so far: Maya arrived back 14 March and Blue 33(11) on 23 March. Maya laid 4 eggs 2, 5, 8 and 11 April hatching 11, 11, 13 and 17 May. Maya and 33 continue to work hard to raise their young and 33 is once more proving to be an excellent provider bringing in plenty of fish to feed his family.

Just about to close down when I noticed Maya getting up and starting to feed again
19:54 #2, who had nothing last feed goes up and #4 joins it
19:54 #2 turns and pecks #4 and then #4 pecks #2 and comes of the worse
19:55 #4 in submission and #1 joins the feed and gets fed
19:59 #2 leaves and #4 gets back up and now fed along with #1
20:02 #1 turns away leaving #4 getting fed
20:03 #2 joins the feed and attacks #4
#1 then faced up #2 who then stopped its aggression on #4
#2 was then fed however #4 did manage to get another couple of bits :-)

The chicks are all snuggled up snoozing off their meal.

Maya had been with the chicks, now they're on their own in the pinky-mauvy morning light:
IMAGICAT
Morning Scylla and All. From the pink to this - beautiful start to the day
#4 being fed just now
Birdies LG DU update.
FISH @ 7:42
It appears quite a small fish, well by 33 standards. 33 has flown and Maya moves round the nest holding the fish yet to start feeding the chicks.
07:46 #1 being fed and #4 has crept up to be fed too
07:47 #4 gets some fish along with #1 who is getting the most
07:51 Maya stopped feeding for some reason and the chicks all lying down. Stands for a while then moves around the nest with the fish then back again.
07:58 #1 is fed again by Maya with her back to us blocking the view. #4 joins again but quickly lies down
08:03 #1 turns away and #4 is quickly up and gets fed
08:10 #4 now turns away full and joins its siblings but as it turns its head, Maya pushes another bit into it LOL
08:12 #2 now goes up and gets fed
08:20 Feed over and chicks all settled down.
