IMAGICAT
Birdies LG DU update.
10.31 Louis is still incubating, and panting. It must be quite warm.
Thank you for the reminder about the date of the first egg. A while yet before hatching as you say.
No sooner typed, when Aila returns with a piece of wood/bark, and having dropped it, she moves twiggy sticks around. Louis leaves, and Aila continues with the housework before settling

MIKE (meanie!) corrected Scylla:
"It was a whole fish too. Not particularly large."
Sorry about that, I only had a quick glance because I was doing other things (milking everyone for sympathy!):
Whopper indeed Ian.

Aila back from eating her fish - Louis was ready to go:
Louis brought a largish fluffy stick and took over:
Aila had a flyaround before landing on her return:
Louis with a spindly twiggy stick:
Aila flew:
This time she had to plonk a stick onto Louis's back to get him up, and she did a good job:
Ha! Then Louis came in with one of his silly (mostly transparent) sticks:
Thank goodness it fell off the nest!
It's been a good night so far, but with Aila not even close to sleeping, as usual:
Pre-poop pause - I liked the feathers ;)
Not a defence pose, she was wobbling on sticks, which she's done quite a bit of today:
The poop:
Another wobble:
She's hardly budged since then- fingers crossed for the rest of the night:
Lots of buffering. I can't keep my eye on it while I'm doing other nests, but Aila seems to have got her head down for a change:
It didn't last.
And now it's daycam, fer goodness' sake !!!
