Serene at this moment ;)
IMAGICAT
No sign of Louis yet.
A slow droop into a power nap ;)
Celebrating with a video :) Aila repositioned the fish several times, I think she had a good hold on it when she flew.
He still has a wet undercarriage:
Smallish whole fish delivered to a very wet Aila just after 10-30AM...which was gratefully received. Louis took up incubation duties while Aila was off away with 'fish-brekkie'
11-30-ish Aila returns with small clump. Threat of twiggy treatment ensures Louis pretty rapidly hands incubation duties back to Aila.
After her late breakfish, Aila returned with earthy clumps and there was an orderly changeover:
Another fish - as reported by IAN, Aila had a flyabout before taking it away, in the meantime Louis had some skin off it:
We don't get many pictures of dear Louis lately - not that this is anything special, but still ;)
Aila returned with bark:
Shifting Louis req'd a stick and some tail work this time:
More rain:
Louis was standing there ever so nicely, having brought in the golden clump at his feet:
When Aila got up and tailed him in the face!
So he flew:
Soon back with an insignificant stick:
And he stayed for well over 10 minutes! He knew I was worrying about not snapping him ;) And he's a very pretty boy today:
Aila stoical whilst getting wetter and wetter:
Then a flyabout:
That's flapped off all the rain!
She's quite spread out:
That's up to 19:33.
20.25, Louis brings in a headless fish, like early afternoon Aila flies off first before returning for it. Ian
Louis was incubating, Aila comes back, manages to dislodge him and settles to incubate.
