(Not able to watch as I was recovering from witnessing a tragedy across the pond, when father barn owl accidentally dragged one of his owlets out of the cavity, at a great height.)

Regarding the intruder incident, at about 1.10 to 1.15 into Scylla's vid it looks like Louis is chasing the male (first) intruder, so I would agree with Scylla that he was helping out. Ian

The owlet has been found, it's fine, it will be replaced in the cavity after the adult female has left in the evening :)

Louis is here, I thought he'd brought some fish but no, he's fiddling with a big stick at the front - Aila continues to call.

My Arkaig laptop's screen is now permanently pure white all over, unless I switch the display off and back on, when it recovers for a few minutes before whiting out again.

It will have to go to the mender's, when is hatching due?
