I hope that Tawny or its kin comes back, TRYING :)

It's been peaceful since the Tawny attack.  She has looked over her shoulder a couple of times but when I play it back at 1x speed it's been a casual action, not alarmed.

Some time between this and this it drizzled at the very least:

 

Aila just flew :o

And is back almost immediately. Definitely wet!

Thanks for the Owl video Scylla - poor Aila she is not getting a peaceful night is she.   

Louis flew in about 10 mins ago with a big clump of moss, Aila then left and Louis is incubating now.

I missed out that she got her foot caught in that twiggy bristly stick when going for a poop, which we couldn't see (wrong direction), and we can't even see the foot-shakes cos I'm not doing a video :o

Apart from that owl attack and rain it's been a good night.

First sight of Louis was when he brought in a big bunch of bracken and took over - Aila was gone in a trice!

That was interesting A bird of some kind flew right across the distance from R to L and Louis followed it with his gaze Wonder what it was

I'll have a look for that bird, PATILY, but am sure we'll be none the wiser. Unless it was Aila.

Found it - but as you say, it's in the distance, but can't rule out Aila :)

Aila is back, fiddling with nest material and crop-dropping. Louis's looking skyward, not getting up.

Aila wrested it from Louis's talons and has flown with it. Good job, Aila :-*
