Continued from April 2019
The season so far:
Maya arrived back 14 March and Blue 33(11) on 23 March. They are currently incubating 4 eggs laid 2, 5, 8 and 11 April with the first expected to hatch around 9 May

Maya grabs the fish and moves over to the chicks. 33 flies off and Maya feeds them
She moves round more and continues feeding
they really are getting big and I see #4 head much darker now
#4 has already had a few pieces and here it is getting another
After a bit #4 is full and turns around
but later manages another bit
the older chicks are full but #4 still manages some ... it reminds me of S3 LOL
Maya continues to stuff #4 full of fish :-D
Lovely to see ALL the chicks getting fish from Maya.
What a wee cutie #4 is
I've saved your lovely PEEKABOO and CUTIE #4 snaps, KAREN :-*
Thank you for the report, SANDRA-C - we'd heard about the unforgivably scrappy handover to a new team, or at least a failed induction :(
I'm always half a scat or more behind here, if I have anything at all ;-D Here is 33 being his customarily clumsy self, tripping onto an osplet - who gets up in surprise:
IMAGICAT
Were it not for the wind he'd be able to stay asleep longer:
Maya has been sheltering the younger chicks, the eldest content to lie out beside her, but now up giving them a breather.
She is looking around, I wonder if 33 has another fish? No, its a bunch of hay he is approaching with!
Didn't stay long - flying off quickly.
33 just landed with a stick and chicks quickly lie down. He really needs to watch his footing!
33 arrives with another stick
and after placing it, tramples on one of the older chick!
33 just in with a huge fish which Maya grabs
She starts feeding the chicks who were quickly up at her feet for their fish
All lined up and Maya tears and dishes out the fish. #4 keeping its head up it is getting fish along with its siblings
