Continued from April 2019
The season so far:
Maya arrived back 14 March and Blue 33(11) on 23 March. They are currently incubating 4 eggs laid 2, 5, 8 and 11 April with the first expected to hatch around 9 May

Morning All and we are now onto Day 15 since the first hatch.
Thanks for all the updates - Maya has been off the nest a couple of times returning with some hay. Maya is pottering about and now preening while the chicks are huddled together sleeping so I assume have been fed.

33 arrived a few minutes ago with a stick which they both placed. Maya, with her wings spread, now covers the chicks as there appears to be quite a breeze today. 33 flies off.
Birdies LG DU update.
Morning Patily and Mike - I am pea green this morning looking at the cam for my brother is fishing Rutland Water today.
33 is building this morning for this is the third stick I've seen him bring in and place
Going back to early this morning, before a big freeze :(
33 brought a small fish:
Stood and watched for a few moments then flew off...
... he was gone for 30 seconds and returned with another small fish !!!
Huge freezes from when the feed was probably nearly over, until:

Thanks Scylla, good to know there has been a delivery.
But they do look small. There is a brisk breeze this morning so most likely he has been fishing in the shallows. Hopefully one of his usuals appears shortly.
