Another check, roll and shoogle. I would guess something is happening now

And as I type this, another check and again.

And more checking and turning ....

Pity Maya has her back to us for we can't really see the eggs but I suspect we may see this little one tonight:-)

We don't think there will be a hatch tonight. The staff have been checking closely but couldn't see a crack appearing yet. Maybe tomorrow though

Sandra, are you privvy to seeing a large screen with a zoomed in view of the nest or just the same as us and binos?

Just asking as I'm disappointed that they never zoomed the cam in for us overnight as they have done in the past. Bit mean of them if you ask me LOL

The presence of fish on the nest and Maya sitting tight would seem to indicate things are moving.
Hope you get lucky Sandra.

It is different staff here this year Karen so that may be why things are different.
I suspect she can really hear the chicks and it may well be that there is the start of a hatch.
We have a TV screen in the hide with the closer view and some scopes. Nothing else sadly.

Maya is really turning that egg now and giving it lots of attention.  

Is the top egg cracked\broken or is it a piece of straw?
