Continued from April 2019
The season so far:
Maya arrived back 14 March and Blue 33(11) on 23 March. They are currently incubating 4 eggs laid 2, 5, 8 and 11 April with the first expected to hatch around 9 May

33 really is a modern man!! From what I could see from captures, he was by her side when she was laying the eggs and now here he is waiting on #1 hatching.

He really is something :-)
There is a new blog not saying really anything about the nest or cam however there is details of their donate options and new merchandise.
33 arrives mantling. Not the best of times for intruders!
33 jumps on Maya's back. Maya gets up
33 still upset
33 has now flown and Maya has settled back on the eggs.
One intruder, not an osprey?
The next turned out to be a blundering duck! It soon turned tail but 33 was very spooked! (EDIT - Or was it a distorted EG?)
IMAGICAT
33 just arrived with what I think is a piece of fish in his talons.
Maya doesn't seem interested and after a bit rises but only to check the eggs. 33 flies off
Birdies LG DU update.
Maya rises and a quick look at the eggs
Close up of the eggs and what I can see of them, they still look intact
33 arrives and checks the eggs
He settles and Maya returns
Maya has now flown leaving 33 sitting.
Again, I would not think 33 would be sitting if there had been a hatching!
Hi Sandra, are you on your shift now?
Looked in to see Maya with a fish beside her on the nest
She rises a little and has just giving the eggs, well the one at the front, a turn
