MANTON BAY – MAY 2019

33 got up and quickly back down.

I always think that if we see 33 incubating then we know there is no hatch for I recall an egg hatching one year while he was incubating and he stood up and just stood there watching it. He did not attempt to sit then or anytime after that season. I can't remember the year.

Maya has just returned with some hay!

Maya has now flown off again

We had a good reveal of the nestcup but the eggs were mostly covered by nest material, dang!

Maya has returned and takes over incubating after 33 flies off.  No visible signs of hatching yet

Just reported on chat at Dyfi that a chick has hatched - congrats Maya & 33!

Just read that it's the 150th egg for Rutland Osprey project!

I saw Maya rise at 16:29 and took this capture but I couldn't see anything or have I missed it???

I assume that the person who reported the chick was watching the cam and reported at 16:29 that she could see squirming!

So same time as Karen's capture but no movement seen by Karen?...
