Continued from April 2019
The season so far:
LM12 (Laddie) arrived back 15 March and LF15 (Lassie) on 23 March. They are currently incubating 3 eggs laid 4, 7 and 10 April with the first expected to hatch around 11 May.

Lassie took a quick comfort break, and now begins to feed the chicks
After #1 has had its fill, #3 gets a few pieces of fish
#2 didn't look too happy and a little biff, but #3 held its ground and getting more!

Many thanks for posting the blog link Karen, fantastic reading!

There were a couple of little birdies making a racket to the right side of the nest, this is one of them
16:12 Laddie returned with the part fish. Feed in progress
Feeding only lasted about 6 minutes before Lassie settle down to brood
A few intruder type chipping calls, didn't appear to come from Lassie though she did look around while brooding. A plane is flying overhead
17:20 Fish delivery from Laddie. Another feed for the osplets
Lassie moved the fish to the left side of the nest before taking a quick comfort break
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
Laddie is doing a fabulous job of providing for his family. The babes are growing so quickly, Catlady!
Around 18:30 Laddie was on the nest, Lassie moved a stick to the left side of the nest. Laddie decided to pick up the fish that was already there (I think he was trying to be helpful rather than fly of with it), Lassie took it from him and fed the osplets
Cathy said:#3 doesn't look to far behind now. They are both great parents.
I was just thinking the same Cathy
21:34 Laddie came to the nest fishless, Lassie shouted her disapproval
21:35 Laddie flew from the nest
