Starling, I agree with what you write.

IMO, definitely fewer fish deliveries and I cannot recall seeing Lassie's crop so empty. But it is his absence that is really noticeable and I am not sure it is entirely down to intruders but of course we have to wait on Lowes next update to hear more of what is going on around the nest.

More to the point: is Laddie still around? I heard he was missing after chasing an intruder. Is anyone able to confirm or better, deny?

Hi Cirrus, yes Laddie is around for he was in earlier.

Just remarking about his absence at the nest, for we have only seen him I think twice today, and fewer fish deliveries :-)

This is starting to look a lot like what happened last year with EJ and George.
I hope laddie starts to provide some fish.

Thanks for the link Karen. It sounds like Laddie is doing his bit. Let's hope he gets a fish for her as Lowes confirm she's not eaten since Saturday.

Thank you Karen, It's all go by the look of things, good to know what's going on there, but I just wish he would bring a fish so I can relax for the evening.

EDIT: Re-Read it, I was reading from the bottom up hoping they would mention a fish either yesterday or today that we had missed, but sadly no chance.... poor Lassie!!! 

Many thanks Karen. It's an excellent blog, but blimey, 'scuse my French!, but what a to-do with so many osprey around, and yet we have seen diddley squat at LG. What's on earth's going on?
The pair are certainly being tested, and so far are holding their nest, but Laddie needs to bring a fish for Lassie.
