From scroll back, around 18:00, an older chick made several pecks at Lassie which made her back off. Very feisty chick!

Lassie was even grabbed on her wing by the youngster. She vacated the nest for a break. On her return, chicks were settled though #3 had been making high pitched chirps, I hope it hadn't been caught during the missed pecking at Lassie, it did try to scramble away from the melee

I think they are after food, and there isn't any.

Catching up with all at this nest as not been watching much so a big thank you to all for your pictures. Great to see that all the chicks are thriving.

Watching the episode again, #3 did get accidently caught on its left shoulder. Let's hope Laddie brings a sizeable fish to the nest for their supper!

20:15 Lassie shouting, I wonder if she can see Laddie with a fish?

I hope so Sandra, seems a while since last feed, or maybe I missed one. I always like them to be fed in the evening so I know they are not hungry.

It's been over a few hours since the last feed, only #1 and #2 appeared to get fed then. Yes Starling, a good supper before dark is ideal to see the chicks through the night (and put our minds at rest! lol)

Quite a dreary looking start to the day and rain forecast.   Lassie now having to spread her wings out to cover the chicks.
