After Friday's excitement seeing Mrs BTO (thanks Karen), not one osprey landed on the nest, although we think we heard one nearby. Super-sleuth-scylla managed to record what we heard. But maybe we were all haliaetus-hallucinating, as Fergus from LG HQ posted to say they'd not seen anything all day, except one osprey flying overhead (although some of us were watching the webcam before the centre opened). Anyhow, there's always another day........
EDIT; title changed to 'update' as there's not a lot of nest activity at present. We can revert back to daily updates once we have 2 or 3 days of solid action if you get my drift

I was suspicious that we had such a long dark night - and find that the only live cam on the Carnyx Channel page is now Chichester Peregrines.
But we do have daycam on VLC, tho of course I can't tell what date it's playing but it could be current. Not very windy this morning, by the sound of it.
Given that Carnyx stay up so late I'm reluctant to phone them this early :o
Let's hope the modem hasn't gone again *eek*
I expect MIKE will know when it's OK to get in touch with Carnyx *hint*.

CARNYX are still working on the cam - the problem seems to be the weakness of the satellite signal.
I'm off now, so won't have anything even if the cam comes back up. I'm even wishing for ENS today, how awful !!!

Good morning one and all! I think we have live with sound, but buffering. Watching on YouTube it is kicking in and out, with a view from treecam, and a waving conifer blowing in from the right. It is also dropping in and out of focus - presumably all to do with a poor signal.
