Telyn, asleep in a strong head wind
Last evening, Monty brought Telyn a live fish:
He flew up to the perch and she followed him with it and ate it there - shame about the blobs :(

Monty's wakeup (pic not quite as hoped):
I'm sure we never used to get the blurring on the main cam that we do this season - is it just the downloads or does it happen on the YouTube site too?
First fish - a flounder:

SHEILA asked:
Is the perch shown on the nest cam, the same as the perch in the second cam?
The perch on Cam2 is the high perch, and it's the right-hand "arm" looking the opposite way from the main cam (according to my detectitve work ;) )
Good morning, all!
Thank you so much for the explanation, Scylla. i really appreciate it.

Some of today's (now yesterday's!) incidents
Another fish bites the dust - um, mud! ;)
A while afterwards this was brought to the perch as no more than the tiniest bit of tail with fin, so I don't know if it's part of the above, retrieved:
Telyn, as if you didn't know:
Clump delivery - I have only seen one thin, complicated stick brought in so far, no good view of it:
She's nagging:
Mating gone awry:
They both looked rather awkward afterwards ;)
I did have a relevant snap showing a disappointed Telyn when Monty turned up without a fish, but it showed him with an empty crop; plus another mating - heaven knows what's happening but I'm losing snaps hand over fist :-/
It was windy, as demoed by this stick being upended:
I was going to do a dual snap showing each on their nighttime perch but there is no-one on Cam2! One must be on the other end.
Usually, beautiful portraits of beautiful Monty abound, but not this year yet.
Get with it, LIMPY !!! ;)
