Glaslyn has opened today but the recent flooding has caused them issues including a lack of access to the centre and other essential areas of the site.
They hope to have the camera system up and running very soon, possibly even later today.
No sign of any birds in the area.
Watch this space.
Birdies LG DU update.
Close up ... she is quite a stunner

Maybe gone to get another fish (for her this time). Ian
Thanks Scylla for the video, and everyone for your posts and captures.
She sure is a beauty, with nice clear eyes, great to see another made it back safely.
Now it is time for her to go, it reminds me of when Clarach ? I think was on the nest and Mrs.G was so tolerant of her.
Hope she moves on North though, don't want any hassle for Mrs.G

Oh I never thought of that , silly me. I use this sight for info just for my own interest. Do you know how often it is updated?
Lol I would never be able to tell gender of a bird I did not know, so when id came up in Dyfi chat I immediately looked it up. It is amazing
what info is out there if you care to research and I find it most helpful to get my facts correct should I wish to participate in chat
as would hate to post wrongly about any nests/ birds. I am a novice but enjoy watching and learning with others.

1. I think many of us use Pete's UK Osprey site for info Sheena. Sorry I don't know how often he updates it. I only suspected/asked as I had checked Sue's spreadsheet on Tiger & Chloe's website and never saw it listed. Now that is another good source for you :-)
2. Genders - well females tend to have a dark necklace at their chest whereas males are much paler - even white. Also males are smaller than females. You will notice this when watching the cams.
3. Never bother about facts. Just ask away as there are many here willing to help/advise and if you are wrong - so what, it doesn't matter as someone will, in a very nice way, correct you. Remember we were all novices once :-))
Poor LA4 is being pestered by those ravens!
LA4 has flown (17.08). Ian
EDIT - to be replaced on the perch by a corvid!
