This thread will continue daily until we decide that nest activities require the 2019 DAILY UPDATE to commence :)
Trying posted first live stream snap of 2019:
Nota bene - NO GLARE !!!
Not to be outdone (even tho she was) Scylla poked her nose in - what a shame that it shows how much better the VLC picture is, compared to (her) screen-capture:
No nest activities yet seen, it really is too bad !!! ;-D

CRinger said:The bird on the post has been there 3+ hours now with a half eaten fish. It has a metal BTO ring on its right leg - no Darvic. The bird here at around 8 this morning had the same rings / no rings, so without doubt the same bird. Can't be many with that configuration in the area.
As I posted above (I missed you!) the osprey that landed, and defended the nest against a skydancer at 06.30 also had a BTO, and to my mind is the same bird. So has been around for nine hours now, with a brief fishing trip!!

Some people think Ospreys are a matter of life and death. I don't like that attitude. I can assure them it is much more serious than that.

On the nest briefly
Back to the tree, looking up
Definitely on alert for whoever is in the skies. Fish gone soon.

A digital cam down a 'scope from the hide if she is perched at the right angle should do it.
