This thread will continue daily until we decide that nest activities require the 2019 DAILY UPDATE to commence :)
Trying posted first live stream snap of 2019:
Nota bene - NO GLARE !!!
Not to be outdone (even tho she was) Scylla poked her nose in - what a shame that it shows how much better the VLC picture is, compared to (her) screen-capture:
No nest activities yet seen, it really is too bad !!! ;-D

Karen W said:I wish "G" no harm and for him to return elsewhere! I do not wish to see him as the successor to this nest especially when I think of Ollie, Henry & Odin for they were worthy males. I cannot and will never take to him especially in light of how he treated EJ in what was most likely her last season with us. I truly hope the osprey that landed this morning is not him and if it was then god speed a young, strong handsome male, preferably ringed that will defend and provide for this nest.
Well, I'm certainly late in catching up with all this news (and lovely pics of Crossbills whaever their nationality or status). I'm very grateful to you all for the pictures, information, posts and reminiscences (hope i got that word right, my brain is missing a gear right now). What an eye opener ! So, first I have to say I SO agree with you KAREN and JENNIFER..
But there is still a large slice of April to go and remembering all the horrors of two years of horrendous hassle for Odin from a multitude of intruders there just has to be a lot more Ospreys than this one who will take an interest in EJ's Eyre. It is encouraging though.. The videos are great, thank you all for those- they clearly show legs without rings (particularly the right leg).
So then - here's to round two .
PS What a legacy you left for us Scylla....... your Youtube videos of LG males in 2018 VERY well done indeed
On checking the "little birds" extract found when looking for the Osprey, I discovered that it was just one chappie darting around making himself look like a small flock ;-D
HAPPY BIRTHDAY HENRY x
Eww, that hasn't turned out quite as intended, but the sentiment is there ;)
