NASA News Conference on NASA TV in approx. an hour and a half. They are showing a repeat of the landing now.
I'm off out the door; shall probably be back in time for the 5 o'clock check in with the lander's solar panels.

Diane: I gather the solar panels on InSight opened successfully; the company that built them is just across the freeway from us. They interviewed the guy in charge on our local television channel yesterday afternoon and he and his team were nervously waiting because if the panels didn't open, the entire mission goes down the toilet.
