There seems to be no Osprey Chat Thread since August 2018, and as I have been pondering over something on Twitter which was posted on a closed osprey FB page, I thought I would start one in the hope someone can solve my conundrum!
A tweet from Movetech Telemetry:
I know of Blue LK8(18) a male from Tweed Valley, here, but the maps are not the same. Similar, yes, but path from the UK is different.
Any ideas on who the tweet is reporting on?

Wow, no idea who this is but an amazing journey! Thanks for posting and reviving the thread
I think this is Doros
Doros is mentioned here. Daughter of FK8
Birdies LG DU update.
Doros
LOL thank you everyone!! I have just come back to pass on my findings and find you have all done it for me! Many thanks to you all. Apparently she wasn't ringed, so only has the name of Doros, which is a mix of Dornoch and Osprey - but no doubt that is in the links you so kindly posted.
Edit: and to see that I even commented on the post, quite fully too, makes me feel even more embarrassed! Well, at least I started what could be a useful thread!!
I've just come across this one on FB. Apologies if anyone has posted it already.
I thought after seeing the headline that it was killed, but after reading the report that fear was allayed.

Thank you Richard. Just goes to show how rings educate, and save lives of birds.
Unusual nesting material!
Unusual indeed Sheila! At least the guy took it well!
Thanks, Richard. Really interesting report. Was relieved to read that the osprey was released eventually.
