EDIT
Late in the day I changed the title of this thread from "DU" to "Off-Season Obs" ~ anyone is welcome to suggest a better title than the current one :)

No osprey presence yesterday, but in the evening a visit from an osprey nemesis ;)
.
TIGER has reminded us that we mustn't jump the gun when our ospreys don't appear on-cam, or even at the Centre, for a day or two, so we wait...

My posts had been going straight to the top but my last post (on the Cornish Barn Owls thread) went to the bottom and the refresh was req'd to put it to the top. It's all very inconsistent!
G'night folks :)

Yes he did Sheila. Ian
Lovely Crestie, Korky, I've extracted pre- and post-daycam Cresties but am too tired to sort them out now. See ya later :)
Feeder cam is down @ 05:30hr today ;(
(This post went to the bottom.)
Have e-mailed and left a message on Peter's 'phone.
Birdies LG DU update.
Thanks, MIKE, re heads-upping Peter
This morning I was scrolling thru yesterday's feeder, head spinning, thinking that I don't notice Chaffies these days, and lo! there appeared a little "red" breast on the queuing perch !!! And it was a Chaffie, and another popped in-n-out giving us a lovely back view for a moment.

Where did the yellow come from in the fly-in shot?
CCresties were frequent visitors - the first snap is daytime, the second two not long before the pre-nightcam rosy stage - that was its final visit and you'da thought it was the last visitor but it got knocked off by a Coal Tit, who didn't even stay one second!
The camera is now back up. Ian
Just switched on again to see we're back, thanks Peter and Ian and my reward was a Crestie.
Really clear snaps scylla. The cresties are so hard to photograph
Patience is rewarded Mike! Nice snap
