EDIT
Late in the day I changed the title of this thread from "DU" to "Off-Season Obs" ~ anyone is welcome to suggest a better title than the current one :)

No osprey presence yesterday, but in the evening a visit from an osprey nemesis ;)

TIGER has reminded us that we mustn't jump the gun when our ospreys don't appear on-cam, or even at the Centre, for a day or two, so we wait...

Why is this OLD post at the top of the page? Why do the newest posts now appear at the top of the page (except for this old one anyway) , it didn't used to be this way and when , therefore, do the pages roll over? Flop.
I'm not really replying to your post Mike , it's just that I don't know what to do to bring my post to the top/ Currently it is right at the bottom below posts 20 hour old for crying out!!!
Another why. Why has my post suddenly decided it didn't like being at the bottom of the page and has, of its own volition, appeared at the top? it's all very confusing
Panic not. It’s not personal Cirrus.. Happening to us all. Think of your posts like bubbles that eventually make their way to the top of your gin and tonic. Oh and press ‘newest’ which makes it a super speedy bubble
Oh, ha ha then Korky and thank you - there are still-lots of wrinkles in the system then. And yes, I did 'reply' to your post so I'll see what happens to my replly
Hi Cirrus, lots of odd things happening here, years old posts with deleated posts, or closed posts appearing now in our notifications. When we reply it goes to the bottom of the page but if you refresh it has gone up to the top!
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
Oh well so much for that, that last post went straight to the top, Oh I dunno!!
"Unleashed Dog Accidentally Pulls Over Bird Table"... everything spills out.
It looks as tho there's a "rope" between the bird table and "something else" and the dear doggie (it wasn't his/her fault, but the owners') got caught by it.
PS - I think it may have been water in that bowl-shaped receptacle.
Here's the crestie

Well caught, Scylla! The rope clearly is a barrier to keep hoomans away from the feeders, and dogs with long leads can't read! Hooman looked somewhat sheepish as he replaced the bird bath!! Did he actually glance at the cam?
